Lanvin Pre-Fall 2011 Preview

Designer Alber Elbaz shared some of the images he created in making the lookbook for his Lanvin Pre-Fall 2011 collection. The photos were shot in his tiny atelier in Paris, with models posing with lifelike stuffed animals.

The collection is all about putting the decadence of evening wear into day wear. “It’s not about Marilyn Monroe moving to India and having an acid trip,” Elbaz reiterated. Highlights in the collection include ruffled black dresses made in scuba fabric, as well as gray knit sweaters that are paired with long silk skirts.
