Hip Hop artist and one of today’s most stylish men, Kanye West admitted in an interview that he will be collaborating with the luxury goods giant to design a new range of men’s shoes.

In the interview during Louis Vuitton’s unveiling of its Spring 2009 collection, the rapper/producer "Louis Vuitton Don" said "I’m here for Louis. I grew up with the Louis look, you know. I just love the style."

The new line of men’s shoes will be called Kanye for LV. Kanye has been reported to be spending time in Paris to work on the finishing touches for his men’s shoes line.

This collaboration should come as no surprise to his fans and peers. Kanye is frequently seen in the front row of the fashion giant’s shows. He also performed at Takashi Murakami’s exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. (Murakami’s work has been incorporated in various Louis Vuitton accessories). And for his 30^th birthday, the self-proclaimed "Louis Vuitton Don" held his party at the Louis Vuitton flagship store in New York City.

Kanye, who also has his own fashion line, also admitted that he will be releasing his own brand of women’s wear.
