None of the skinny teenagers today ever came close (or ever will) to the glamour – and dare we say notoriety – that the super models (the big six namely Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington) of yesteryear had.

Today, the closest we have to the "original" super model is Brazilian babe Gisele Bündchen. But, let’s admit it; Super Models will never go out of style. Granted, they were not as powerful as they were, like, a decade ago, but there’s just something about them that have us – especially designers – keep coming back for more.

Schiffer recently took a break in 2002 from modeling when she got married and gave birth to her two children. This ad campaign for Chanel will be reunion between Lagerfield and Schiffer who had collaborated in several campaigns in the past. Karl Lagerfield reportedly chose Schiffer to be the face of Chanel, and thus launched her career as a supermodel.

The shoot was held in New York City, where the blonde beauty will be dressed in 20 inspired clothing. It was rumored that the Super Model tripped while walking around Central Park during the shoot. However, photos were released showing the blonde beauty posing seductively on the ground. Schiffer was also seen hiding her golden locks under a black 20s inspired wig during the shoot for the ad campaign.
