Fendi’s peek-a-boo leather bag makes a nice investment piece. It is made of black goat leather with decadent gold leather interior, and burnished silver-tone metal hardware. It is given a dégradé black and anthracite effect that, along with the metallics, perfectly accentuates your office ensemble. On top it has a short leather handle, and logo-embossed turnlock fastenings. It has pouch compartments both in front and at the back. Inside, the bag has internal zipped compartment and has a degradé …

Marc Jacob’s sure knows how to add a kick to a dull old satchel. The Salma satchel bag from his Marc by Marc Jacobs is made of leather, and had gold tone hardware through out. It has an embossed designer logo stud detail, two top handles, an internal leather-trimmed pocket with embossed designer logo, and a contrast lining. To make the bag appear more unique and interesting, Jacobs added tonal paneling throughout – and chose just the right eye-catching color: red. It’s simple, yet attention-gra…

I’ve always liked Tod’s handbags. They’re always so stylish, but never over-the-top. A current favorite is the G-Bag Bauletto Satchel. It’s made of coated canvas with contrast leather trim. It has adjustable double handles, an adjustable shoulder strap, and zipper closure, inside zip pocket, nylon lining and metal feet. I like the bag’s classic ‘bowling bag’ shape and it’s eye-catching red color. It’s perfect for a day about town. The handbag’s dimensions are 12″W X 9″H X 7″D. Tod’s G-Bag …

Summer is the perfect time for weekend getaways. When packing your belongings for a weekend in the country, not just any old duffel bag will do, not for the modern vacationer anyway. And the modern vacationer is what Nicholas K designer Nichole Kunz had in mind when she came up with the Max Weekender. Modern vacationers are laptop-carrying, gadget-operating ilk, and they can’t bear to part with their devices. The Max weekender is the perfect solution. Inside, it is divided into three roomy compa…

It has top double zip closure, plus leather pulls. Inside, it has soft ultra suede lining, an interior zi…

Last Spring, Coach looked to the past for inspiration – and hit it big. It always pays to remember where you’ve been. Designer Reed Krakoff’s Bonnie line – inspired of course by Bonnie Cashin’s contributions to the label – included the Olive frame bag which is currently making its way to the top of women’s shopping and/or must-have accessories lists. The Bonnie frame bag has this unique and totally versatile framed design; imagine a huge classic-shaped coin purse – with a removable, patent leath…

For his spring ’09 collection, designer Ralph Lauren turned to Africa for inspiration. His runway was strewn with brown camp shirts, bronze or white linen suits, trenches and harem pants – not to mention turbans and Indiana Jones hats. There were even gold flasks with stone details. The collection’s other handbags were not quite as props-y as the golden hip flask, but they played up the rich yet laid back theme just as well. Take the Ralph Lauren Crocodile Ricky Bag for instance. It is made of …

High-end women’s apparel label, Proenza Schouler, is all about very functional, yet stylish pieces. The label’s designs have been described as “sporty” and “youthful”, and their shapes are usually “minimal” and “sleek”. This “simple and sleek” formula of founders and co-designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough is currently a favorite young Hollywood since the one of the Olsen dolls was seen sporting their PS1 bag. When not sporting couture, celebs are often spotted going about in casual g…
