Last Spring, Coach looked to the past for inspiration – and hit it big. It always pays to remember where you’ve been.

Designer Reed Krakoff’s Bonnie line – inspired of course by Bonnie Cashin’s contributions to the label – included the Olive frame bag which is currently making its way to the top of women’s shopping and/or must-have accessories lists.

The Bonnie frame bag has this unique and totally versatile framed design; imagine a huge classic-shaped coin purse – with a removable, patent leather-accented chain strap (8 ½” drop ). Versatile.

Oh, and you can fold it over as a clutch bag. Totally versatile.

It’s made of lightweight leather with leather trim. Inside, it’s lined with fabric, and has multifunction pockets and one inside zip pocket. The zippered bottom allows you to expand the bag, in case you need more room. Its dimensions are 8 ½ (H) x 9 ¾ (L).

Bonnie Cashin was a fan of color. Naturally the collection she inspired is bursting with cool and vibrant hues. You can get the Olive bag not just in cool, pastel seafoam and lime, but in coral and fuchsia, and charcoal and navy as well.
