New York Fashion Week is considered the "Olympics of Style" and has been the barometer of the hottest trends that will be all the rage in the coming months.  Let us take a peek on what is in store for Fall-Winter of 2010.

Vests – Jackets are so ten minutes ago.  Layer your wardrobe with vests, whether it is men’s vests, velvet, sweater, or fur.  Just tell the paint-bucket-carrying activists that the fur is faux and you will be fine.

Colorblocking – In contrast to last season’s explosion of frills and flowers, the print of the season is solid blocks of complementing or contrasting colors.

Menswear – Incorporate your attire with your boyfriend’s plaids, suits, and anything else you can rummage in his closet.

Gloves – Gloves are an unexpected accessory for the coming fall season.  You can mix it up by wearing bright pairs that pop with color or even fingerless gloves for a more urban feel.

Luxurious fur – Why should Eskimos have all the fun?  Wrap yourself with the warm animal coats to keep you cozy.  Treehugging fashionistas may opt for faux fur, or even dog hair fur-from shedded hair, of course.
