A Different Way to Eyeliner

Different Way To Eyeliner

Normally we try to trace as neat a line as possible when putting on eyeliner. That practice was thrown out the window at the Zero + Maria Cornejo fall 2009 runway show.

Makeup guru Dick Page drew several black lines onto models’ eyes using soft brush strokes. "The eye look is based on one of the prints in the collection," says Page. "The cream liner gives a dense black finish and the Shiseido Hydro-Powder Eye Shadow in Violet Visions provides traces of color. There’s no contoured, detailed shading-it’s just fun."

And to make things even more interesting, Page created a different liner-shadow sketch for each model, but the generous coating of Shiseido Perfect Mascara was a constant.
