Eyebrows can drastically change the way you look. The wrong shape can make you look surprised or stern. But whether your eyebrows are thin elegant or thick and dramatic, you should always groom your brows. That said, here’s how to perfect your brows at home:
Tools
- You will need the following tools:
- Eyebrow brush
- Eyebrow scissors
- Sharp, slanted-edged tweezers
- Eybrow pencil
- Eyebrow gel
First, brush your eyebrows upward and trim the hairs.
Next shape your brows. To make it even, make sure that the space between your brows is equal to the width of an eye. Your eyebrow should start directly above the nostril. Hold the pencil diagonally, extending it from your nostril to the end of your eye. This marks where your eyebrows end.
Find out where the highest part of the arch should be. Extend the pencil from the nostril to the outside edge of the iris. You can use a light colored pencil to trace a line to guide you as you pluck.Start tweezing your eyebrows using these guidelines. Avoid over tweezing.
To cover sparse areas of your brows, use a brow powder in shade closest to your hair color. Use a stiff brush to fill in the sparse area and extend the brows if necessary. Fill in any gaps with a light taupe or blonde colored pencil, and then cover with brow powder. The pencil will ensure that the brow powder will stay put throughout the day.
Lastly, apply a clear mascara or brow gel to keep them in place.
