Wash your face in the morning with a cleanser containing glycolic acid or as salicylic acid to exfoliate dead skin cells.
Moisturize twice a day to keep skin hydrated. For day, use an SPF 15 lotion labeled “broad-spectrum.”
To protect skin from the environmental damage that causes sagging, apply an antioxidant cream or serum on your face and neck (look on the label for ingredients such as green or white tea, idebenone, vitamins c and e, Coenzyme Q10, or alpha lipoid acid).
Smooth on a thin coat of light diffusing lotion or foundation with your fingertips or a damp sponge.
Gently pres a clean, dry puff all over your face to set the makeup. Avoid using powder because it can cake around the lines, making them look deeper.
In the evenings, use a nonmedicated cleanser. To increase cell turnover and stimulate collagen production, dab on a retinol product. If you have sensitive skin, choose lotions with a kinetin (a plant hormone) or copper.
