Katherine Fleming is quickly becoming one of the most sought after accessory designers around.
Having just launched her signature collection in 2008 [Fall/Winter], her handbags are being spotted more frequently on the arms of the fashionistas.
Fleming’s handbags are works of art. Her unique style is being described as "revolutionary" and her design savoir faire is reportedly "pushing the boundaries of construction and hardware innovation."
Using matte hardware and rose gold which are not commonly used, her Spring 2010 collection attests to that.
Inspired by the deep blue, Fleming put out her classics in fish-scale hues, such as that ruddy-bronze one she calls Goldfish Python. She demonstrates her unique style in another handbag she calls Ocean batik. Also made of python, the bag has an unexpected white matte finish that appears airbrushed [or faded] with shades of blue. Leathers were also made to give off the slightest iridescent hint, as seen on a pale blush number.
