How To Fill in Your Eyebrows

eyebrowThick, full brows are attractive. If your eyebrows are not full enough, then it’s time to fill in the blanks. Read these tips to know more about it.

Use pencil or powder – Aside from eyebrow pencil, you can also use dark eyeshadow to fill in your brow. Make sure that they are in the correct shade. Women with fair complexions should use a blonde shade, olive toned skin should go tawny or brown, and those with African-American skin should use gray.

Brush it down – Brush brows downward using a dry, mascara-like wand. To define the arch, use the eyebrow pencil to draw a line along the upper edge of the brow. Comb the eyebrows upward and outward.

Make it fuller – For added fullness, dust eye shadow into the hairs of the brow with a stiff, slanted brush. Dip the brush into a tiny amount of powder and use short, gentle strokes while applying.

For “overtweezed” brows – If your eyebrows have been severely tweezed too much, brush the hairs in the direction of the growth. Then, fill in any visible patches with eye powder. Avoid adding to the top or bottom of the brows to keep them from looking “bushy.”

Set it in place – Comb a clear brow gel (or a light hair gel) up through the brows to set the hairs in place.
