Shearling or lambskin is versatile and long-lasting. It will not only keep you warm when the temperature starts to drop this year, but will serve you for many years to come. Lambskin also offers plenty of warmth so you don’t need to put on several layers of clothes.

Fur cuff or collar

If you got a perfectly nice and wearable coat, style it up by adding a fur cuff or collar. You can have these fur cuffs or collar custom made. See if there are furriers in your area who sell trimmings. Find a tailor who can make a fine cuff or collar out of them.

High-heeled, narrow boots

Boots are a wardrobe staple. They not only provide the warmth and protection your feet need, they are also very stylish, and can add a lot to an outfit. Choose boots that are at least 3 inches high, which tapers towards the toes.

Warmer hosiery

As the temperature drops, your hosiery should also change. Choose ones that are made from warmer material so your legs won’t freeze when gets cold and you happen to be wearing a skirt.
