Green with envy over the luscious lashes that your chic officemates have? You can have those, too! Here are the four basic tips on applying fake lashes so that they’ll look real, even when they’re not.

Getting started

Get your lashes ready for putting on the fake ones. You can do this by lining your eyelids with either a light brown or a gray-colored liner. Smudge it slightly to mask the spot where you are to put your fake lashes. Make sure that you don’t overdo the smudging so that you van achieve the proper concealed effect .

Using the glue

You will most probably use a band of fake lashes. To put these on, apply some glue on your fingertips and carefully wipe it on the lashes. On the other hand, if you will use individual lashes, dip the lashes on a drop of glue. Do this very cautiously because too much glue will make the fake lashes too sticky and as a result, putting it on will be difficult.

Sticking it on

After putting glue on the fake lashes, gently apply it on your lash line. Make it a point to put the fake lashes as close to your lash line as possible. If you’re aiming for a more natural look, place the lashes on the outside of your eyes.

The final touch

For the final touch, put some eye makeup on. Curl up the lashes. Brush on some mascara on the lashes you’ve put on for maximum effect..
