Gisele Bundchen For True Religion Jeans

Gisele has been seen numerous times wearing the high-end denim label’s supper skinny jeans and super-short shorts.

But now, it really official – The super-Duper (and reportedly world’s highest paid) model Gisele Bundchen appears for True Religion’s Spring-Summer 2009 ad campaign.

True Religion’s founder and CEO Jeffrey Lubell said,

"When you use a girl like Gisele, you’re trying to create the image of your brand and your product on her… You want women to see how it looks on her and say, ‘I really want to look like that.’"

Lubelle further adds that, Bundchen’s "versatility is something that attracts brands to work with Gisele and pay a premium to get her."

"The way we style it and the way our product is compared to another brand’s product, it looks totally different," said Lubell.

For True Religion’s Spring-Sumer 2009 ad campaign, True Religion enlisted the expertise of Nino Munoz, who also shot Gisele for her Rolling Stone magazine cover. The photo shoot took place in Malibu beach where the Brazilian beauty is seen wearing super-short sheared denim shorts and denim vests – pieces from the brand’s limited edition Vintage line. The recently married super model looks stunning with her hair down in stylish disarray, and looking rugged, cowgirl style.

Gisele Bunchen has appeared in other denim ads recently – Brazilian denim brand Colcci and Rampage to name a few.

Brands are so impressed by the super model’s professionalism and work ethic that Lubell happily exclaimed,

"She practically ran the shoot. I didn’t need to be there," said Lubell, who was very much impressed by the fact that Bundchen had driven herself to the shoot, arrived on time, introduced herself and launched herself into the collection.

Expect to see more of Gisele Bundchen in the months ahead.

True Religion’s 2009 Spring-Summer ad campaign will appear in fashion bibles Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle and Vanity Fair this March.
